Under Armour to go cotton?

Under Armour may launch a new clothing line hybrid cotton next year, according to an analyst who follows the company.

The Baltimore sportswear company is best known for his slick feeling, compression garments in place.

Analyst Michael Binetti, who follows Under Armour for UBS Securities LLC, in a research report released Monday described the new clothing line as "coated cotton that wicks moisture from the skin, but it still has its cotton production feel. "

Binetti has revealed the company's plans for the new line in a research note in which he also announced it was upgrading the company's inventory to a buy recommendation.

A spokesperson for Under Armour would not confirm plans for a launch.
